If one has seriously attempted the first few tips, one would realize that it would take several days before one can bring focused concentration.
Mental state constantly fluctuates and is easily disturbed. It is practice and self forced discipline that will help most. But let us look at tip number 4, this is to seek external help:
While sitting in silence or by ones’ own self, try seeking external help to focus and discipline the mind.
* Many burn a candle and just look at it.
* Some would place an object on a plain wall and concentrate on it.
* Even a plant, tree, flower can be helpful.
Try what gives best results.
